PURPOSE: A cooling temperature control method for a hot rolled steel sheet is provided to reduce a strip winding failure by cooling a strip to the proper temperature, thereby ensuring uniform quality.;CONSTITUTION: A cooling temperature control method for a hot rolled steel sheet is as follows. A winding temperature control parameter for a strip immediately after the completion of rolling is measured in real time. The measurement heat flux coefficient corresponding to the winding temperature control parameter is selected from the set standard heat flux coefficient. The goodness of furnace performance is determined. If the furnace performance is not good, the measurement heat flux coefficient is compensated.
