PURPOSE: A transparent siloxane resin composition for optical applications is provided to ensure excellent light transmission, light-proof property, heat resistance, refractive index, and mechanical strength by comprising vinyl oligosiloxane hybrid.;CONSTITUTION: A transparent siloxane resin composition for optical applications comprises (a) 9.0-89.99 weight% of vinyl oligosiloxane hybrid, (b) 10.00-90.00 weight% of organic hydrosilicon compounds containing two or more silicon bond hydrogens, and (c) 0.01-1.00 weight% of metal catalysts. The vinyl oligosiloxane hybrid(a) is obtained by performing non-hydrolysis condensation of organic silanediol with organic alkoxysilane containing a vinyl group or a mixture of organic alkoxysilane containing a vinyl group with metal alkoxide.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
