PURPOSE: A system for authenticating a carbon emission amount according to a traffic unit using a bicycle and an operating method thereof are provided to clearly check a moving distance of bicycles converted into transportation and exactly calculate and authenticate the reduced carbon emission, thereby promoting bicycle usage. CONSTITUTION: A terminal(10) is attached to non-carbon fuel mobile transport to collect data about a moving distance. A serer(30) calculates reduction in carbon emission based on data received from the mobile terminal. A relay(20) wirelessly transceives the data between the terminal and the server. An interface device(50) transmits the stored data to the server after storing the data received from the terminal.
