PURPOSE: A pharmaceutical composition containing beta-phenethylamine compounds and fibrate compounds is provided to relieve obesity-associated diseases.;CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity or obesity-accompanying symptom contains beta-phenethylamine compounds of chemical formula 1, pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or beta-phenethylamine compounds or salt hydrate; and fibrate compounds of chemical formulas 2-6, pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, or fibrate compounds or hydrate thereof. The composition further contains pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, diluents, or excipient. The fibrate compounds are fenofibric acid or fenofibrate.
