PURPOSE: A data demodulation method for decreasing effect of impulsive noise based on multi-carrier and apparatus therefore is provided to modulate data transmitted through a data symbol by performing frequency conversion of restored receiving signal. CONSTITUTION: In a data demodulation method for decreasing effect of impulsive noise based on multi-carrier and apparatus therefore, a signal corresponding to a data symbol is received(S610). The received signal is divided into a plurality of groups by using the constant period of a time region index(S620). The signal quality value of a plurality of groups is calculated(S630). A normal group having no impulse noise and an abnormal group having impulse noise are determined by using signal quality value(S640). The abnormal group is restored by using the normal group(S650). Transmitted data is modulated through the data symbol using receiving signal which is converted into a frequency area and the data transmission pattern of the data symbol(S660,S670).
