LINEAR LOW DENSITY POLYETHYLENE POLYMERS AND COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE POLYETHYLENE POLYMERS FOR CROSSLINKABLE CABLE, AND THE CROSSLINKABLE CABLE

PURPOSE: A linear low density polyethylene polymer is provided to smooth the surface of electric wires when applied to a polyethylene composition for mid-low pressure power lines for crosslinking and to ensure excellent hot/set properties. CONSTITUTION: A linear low density polyethylene polymer for a crosslinkable cable comprises 5~13 weight% of butane-1 in which the melt index thereof is 0 2.0g/10 minute index (measured at a temperature of 190C, and a load of 2.16 kg with ASTM D1238), density is 0.916~0.924 g/cm^3, molecular weight distribution is 4~8, (average short branch number)/(1000 carbons) is 10,000~1,000,000 when eight molecular weight is 10,000~1,000,000. Linear low density polyethylene polymer particles passing through 4 mesh(ASTM E11) and 12 mesh(ASTM E11) have a fraction rate of 0.05 wt%.
