APPARATUS AND METHOD OF ANAEROBIC REACTOR FOR EXCESS SLUDGE REDUCTION BY INDUCING ENDOGENOUS RESPIRATION

PURPOSE: An anaerobic reactor for inducing the endogenous respiration of a microorganism and a method for reducing sewage sludge using the same are provided to reduce the amount of reinputted excess sludge by uniformly maintaining the endogenous respiration state of a microorganism emitted from the anaerobic reactor. CONSTITUTION: An anaerobic reactor for inducing the endogenous respiration of a microorganism includes a main body(1). The main body is composed of a plurality of partitions in a transversal direction(11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, 11e), a plurality of water paths(12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, 12e), a water gate(13), an outlet(4), and inlet(3). The water paths are successively layered by the partitions. The partitions include the water gate. Excess sludge flowers upwards through the water paths. The excess sludge is retained in a main body to induce the endogenous respiration of a microorganism.
