BURNER FOR REGENERATION OF A DPF AND A DPF SYSTEM USING THE SAME TO REMOVE SMOKE COLLECTED IN A FILTER THROUGH THERMAL OXIDATION

PURPOSE: A burner for regeneration of a DPF(Diesel Particulate Filter) and a DPF system using the same are provided to prevent the prevent the flashback of flame in the event of sudden changes in engine driving condition.;CONSTITUTION: A burner for regeneration of a DPF comprises a body(110), a fuel feeder(130), an air preheating supply tube(120), and an igniter. The body includes a vaporization chamber for vaporizing liquid fuel and a vaporizing combustion chamber for burning the vaporized fuel. The fuel feeder is installed on a side of the vaporizing combustion chamber and injects fuel particles with primary air into the vaporizing combustion chamber. The air preheating supply tube is installed in the longitudinal direction on the central axis of the vaporizing combustion chamber and supplies preheated secondary air for combustion to the vaporizing combustion chamber. The igniter lights the mixed gas provided from the fuel feeder.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
