OUTDOOR UNIT OF AN AIR-CONDITIONER, CAPABLE OF MINIMIZING LEAKAGE OF CONDENSED WATER

PURPOSE: An outdoor unit of an air-conditioner is provided to streamline processes of coupling a pipe cover with a body of an outdoor unit, a pipe cover is coupled with the body of the outdoor unit by a single screw.;CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit of an air-conditioner comprises a body(10), an outdoor heat exchanger, a ventilation fan, a refrigerant pipe, and a pipe cover(20). The body is installed outdoors. The outdoor heat exchanger exchanges heat between outdoor air and refrigerant. The ventilation fan forces the flow of the outdoor air. The refrigerant pipe passes through one side of the body and connects the outdoor heat exchanger and the indoor heat exchanger which exchanges heat between the indoor air and refrigerant. The pipe cover is coupled with one side of the body and closes a part of the refrigerant pipe. The pipe cover is combined with the body using only one screw.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
