PURPOSE: A system and a method for authenticating a client in a client-server environment are provided to install an authentication module in an authentication terminal, thereby authenticating validity of a client authentication terminal.;CONSTITUTION: An authentication module for client authentication is installed in a client authentication terminal(100). A host server(200) calls a client authentication server(300) when the client authentication terminal is connected to a network. The client authentication server transmits an operation command corresponding to communication connection of the client authentication terminal to the client authentication terminal.
