PURPOSE: A device and a method for synchronizing standard time using digital information of a commercial broadcast are provided to simplify production processes.;CONSTITUTION: A broadcast receiving unit(100) receives a broadcast signal. A synchronizing signal detecting unit(200) detects a mesh signal from the broadcast signal. A data radio channel decoding unit(300) detects current time information from the broadcast signal. A time information providing unit(500) temporarily sets current time according to detected current time information and synchronizes the temporarily set current time according to the detected mesh signal in real time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
