PURPOSE: An iron roughneck and mud bucket assembly, a drilling ship having the assembly, and a method for extracting mud in a drill pipe are provided to improve work efficiency by securing the continuity of work.;CONSTITUTION: An iron roughneck and mud bucket assembly comprises an iron roughneck(40) which couples or decouples two drill pipes in a drilling site and a mud bucket(50) which is detachably coupled to the underside of the iron roughneck. At the time of coupling drill pipes the mud bucket is separated from the iron roughneck, and at the time of decoupling drill pipes the mud bucket is coupled to the underside of the iron roughneck and the mud in the decoupled drill pipes flows into the mud bucket.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
