PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling an access gigabit Ethernet, and a system and method for accessing gigabit Ethernet having the same are provided to inspect a line state and measure the transmission-available speed level in order to provide the maximum speed proper to the request performance level. CONSTITUTION: A symbol multiplexing unit(120) receives output signal information, and generates a multiplexing signal by multiplexing symbol signals as many as the number of the signals which are supposed to be outputted through a cable. A signal transmission unit(140) receives the symbol signal and the multiplexing signal. The signal transmission unit sets up valid ports as many as the number of received signals, wherein the valid ports are prepared to transmit the received signals.
