PURPOSE: A system and method for compressing and dissolving port number among mounted header information of a transport layer on an upper layer of a protocol based on a wireless local area network, and an apparatus applied to the same are provided to remarkably data transmission rate by differentially compressing a field for a port number according to a port number value. CONSTITUTION: A wireless transmission device(100) differentially compress a port number according to the purpose of a port and a port number value set for the port number, wherein the port number includes the fields for a source port number and a destination port number. A user terminal device(200) differentially release the compression for the port number according to the purpose of the port and a port number value set for the port number.
