PURPOSE: A vertical spinning plasticizing apparatus is provided to prevent bad effects caused by heat of a heating element and to enable simple and low-cost change of a mold.;CONSTITUTION: A vertical spinning plasticizing apparatus comprises a rotary driving mechanism, a tailstock unit(6), a roller, and a transfer mechanism(8). The rotary driving mechanism rotates a workpiece, which is placed in a mold, around a vertical axis. The tailstock unit is installed in the upper frame of a base and supports the workpiece rotated with the rotary driving mechanism from the top of the mold. The roller contacts the rotating workpiece and plasticizes the workpiece into the shape corresponding to the mold shape. The transfer mechanism moves the tailstock unit between a machining position to support the workpiece from the top of the mold and a retracting position for separating from the top of the mold.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
