PURPOSE: A smart card based database management system is provided to apply a new management command in order to request a database management, and receive the result. CONSTITUTION: A remote management server transmits the remote control message to a SCWS(Smart Card WEB Server) through a communication session with the SCWS of a smart card(300). The remote management server includes identification information for database management and database management command to the remote control message. If the remote control message includes the identifying information, the smart card web server transfers the database management command to the database of the smart card.
