PURPOSE: A muffler for a diesel vehicle is provided to enhance the purification of exhaust gas since a slope is formed on a front plate coupled to an inlet pipe so that the flow uniformity of the incoming exhaust gas is enhanced.;CONSTITUTION: A muffler for a diesel vehicle comprises a body unit, a catalyst unit(250), and a PM filter unit. The body unit comprises a central body, a front plate(230), and a rear plate. The front plate comprises an inlet pipe(231). The front plate comprises a slope(232), which becomes closer to the central body toward the lower part. The inlet pipe is connected to the front opening of the central body and has the longitudinal and transversal directions of the central body. The rear plate comprises an outlet pipe. The outlet pipe is coupled to the rear opening of the central body. The catalyst unit is connected to the inside of the body unit and purifies exhaust gas, which flows into through the inlet pipe. The PM filter unit filters and removes particles which have passed the catalyst unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
