PURPOSE: An operating method fro the same and a wireless modem device are provided to selectively operate one part among functions of a plurality of wireless communication modems according to a wireless environment.;CONSTITUTION: A first and a second signal processing unit(108,116) respectively converts data into a wireless transmission type according to a first and second communication types. The first and second signal processing unit respectively converts a wireless received signal into data. A herb(102) activates all communication functions about a selected communication modem(106,114). According to an RSSI(Receives Signal Strength Indication), the herb activates one part of a communication function about the non-selected communication modem.
