PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing flying dust in a chute of a belt conveyor is provided to block flying dust by controlling the air pressure caused by materials falling through a chute.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing flying dust in a chute of a belt conveyor comprises a horizontal chute part(10) and an air pocket part(20). The horizontal chute part is connected to the bottom of the chute and extended lengthwise on a belt to block flying dust. The air pocket part is connected to at least one end of the horizontal chute part to block flying dust having passed through the horizontal chute part. The horizontal chute part comprises a top plate(30) which is connected to the bottom of the chute, a pair of side plates(32) which block the side of the belt, a curtain member which is installed on the front end of the top plate and allowed to rotate, and a blocking member.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
