PURPOSE: A quantitative evaluation method of coating degradation using electrochemical acceleration relating to pipe rest-prevention is provided to accurately estimate coating degradation before using a pipe by performing an acceleration test. .;CONSTITUTION: A quantitative evaluation method of coating degradation using electrochemical acceleration relating to pipe rest-prevention is as follows. A non-coating material, composed of a metal material, and a coating material are prepared(S10). An artificla defect part is created by eliminating a part of the surface of the coating material(S20). The coating material and the non-coating material are put into artificla leachate. Positive or negative potential is alternatively applied to the coating material and the non-coating material.
