PURPOSE: Automatic gain control is provided to adjust the gain of an amplifier based on power supply information obtained by receiving power supply information.;CONSTITUTION: An automatic gain control circuit includes a limit value generator and a circuit(207) for adjusting the strength of supply voltage. The automatic gain control circuit includes a comparator which compares adjusted supply voltage with a trip set point. The trip set point is provided from the limit value generator. The output(211) of the comparator provides the analog input voltage of an AD converter, and the limit value generator provides the maximum voltage(212) and the minimum voltage(213) of an AD converter. A set point amplifier(214) generates a trip set point, and a set point resistor(217) adjusts at least one of the maximum voltage, the minimum voltage and the trip set point.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
