PURPOSE: A pergola with a water curtain type fountain and an installation method thereof are provided to enable people to feel cool and cheerful by seeing water curtain. CONSTITUTION: A pergola with a water curtain type fountain comprises a gutter case(40), a water curtain type fountain member(50), multiple water spatter prevention covers(60), and a circulating pump. The gutter case stores the water inside. The water curtain type fountain member includes a water supply pipe and multiple fountain rods(53) and spurts water stored in the gutter case. The water spatter prevention cover restricts the jet height of the water column spouted from each fountain rod and prevents the water from splashing to the side. The circulating pump supplies water stored in the gutter case to the water pipe of the water curtain type fountain member according to the switch operation of a user.
