PURPOSE: A method for regulating the gas absorption and desorption property of a metal-organic framework is provided to convert the structure and the component of the framework into powder shape with single crystal, amorphous, or partial crystal structures. CONSTITUTION: A framework element is inserted into a metal-organic framework or is eliminated from the metal-organic framework. The chemical formula of the metal-organic framework is represented with ((M_xL1_yL2_z)aS1bS2cS3dS4eS5)_n. The framework element is selected from bpta, bpb, bpy, bpea, or bpee. M is selected from Zn, CU, Mn, or Co. L1 represents ligand including 2 to 6 carboxylic groups. L2 is selected from H_2O, DMF, ethanol, methanol, or DEF. S1 to S5 are identical or different solvent. x is 1 or 2, y is the integer of 1 to 10, and z is 0 or the integer of 1 to 10. A to e is identical or different 0 or the integer of 1 to 40.
