PURPOSE: An adoptive motion effect performing apparatus and method thereof which uses a schema are provided to indicate optimum motion effect by converting adoptive control information capable of receiving motion effect information.;CONSTITUTION: A media process module(110) separates motion effect information from multimedia content which includes adoptive motion effect. A motion effect adaptive module(130) converts motion effect information into adaptive control information based on metadata schema.
