PURPOSE: A method for breeding an edible mini-gourd is provided to have improved sitological characteristics and to ensure high quality. CONSTITUTION: A method for breeding an edible mini-gourd comprises: a step of collecting local variety gourds and studying fruit shape, size, and seed characteristics; a step of performing self-pollination for checking fruit separation; a step of selecting unseparated species and cultivating; and a step of checking growth characteristics, flower shape, and flowering period.
