摘要

PURPOSE: The formation of microstructure fiber pre-form using porous glass deposition is provided to obtain the microstructure fiber pre-form by applying a plasma fusion operation to a powder layer precipitated on an optical fiber substrate and generating bubbles in the layer.;CONSTITUTION: An optical fiber substrate(12) is prepared. Plasma discharge is generated. The plasma discharge is transversally moved by crossing the desired range of the surface of the substrate. Powder is supplied in the plasma discharge in order to be precipitated in the surface of the substrate. The precipitated power is partially densified in order to form a layer on the surface of the substrate. The layer includes a plurality of bubbles.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
