PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for scheduling in a multicarrier system considering power amplifier characteristics are provided to perform communication link scheduling in consideration of maximally energy-efficient packet transmission time and the number of sub carriers. CONSTITUTION: A device searches the transmission time for minimizing energy in consideration of the minimum number of carriers. In addition, the device searches the number of the carriers which minimizes energy in the minimum transmission time(S610). The device sets up a searching region(S615), and performs a line searching operation in each central point(S620). If E-1 is larger than E_2, the device re-defines an initial point(S625, S630). Otherwise, the device redefines the initial point(S635). The device obtains the final solution from the reduced search region(S645).
