PURPOSE: A broadcast control message receiving method and apparatus thereof which uses a MAC PDU header in a wireless connection system are provided to include a broadcast control message type on the MAC PDU header in the wireless connection system.;CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives a broadcast message from a base station(S601). The terminal extracts broadcast message type information which shows a broadcast message type within a header of a received broadcast message(S602).
