COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING DISCOLORATION OF NATURAL PIGMENT FROM PLANTS

PURPOSE: A composition containing Camellia sinensis extract, Centella asiatica extract, and epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG) for preventing discoloration is provided to ensure high thermal or optical stability. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing discoloration contains two or more selected from 0.5- 3.0 weight% of Camellia sinensis extract, 0.5-3.0 weight% of Centella asiatica extract, and 0.5-3.0 weight% of epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG) as an active ingredient. The composition further contains 2-10 weight% of cyclodextrin and 0.05-0.5 weight% of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid(EDTA) based on total weight of the extract as an active ingredient.
