PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for detecting a signal efficiently in a wireless communication system are provided to adjust the complexity and detection performance of a wireless system by variously changing the setup operation for signal detection.;CONSTITUTION: A signal detection device of a wireless communication system comprises an antenna array(100), a setting unit(200), a detection unit(300), and a final signal selection unit(400). The detection unit performs a K-best detection to an α(αM) procedure for a received signal. In addition, the detection unit performs OSIC(Ordered Successive Interference Cancelation) detection from α+1 to Mth procedure.
