PURPOSE: A floor structure of a tundish is provided to improve productivity by reducing the amount of residual ingot steel within the tundish during a continuous casting operation.;CONSTITUTION: The floor structure of a tundish comprises a bottom wall(10) and a secondary bottom wall(20). The bottom wall is made of refractory materials and located on the floor of a tundish main body(1). The bottom wall covers the floor of the tundish and has a plurality of exhaust grooves(1c). The secondary bottom wall is made of refractory materials and upward projected between the exhaust grooves of the bottom wall. The secondary bottom wall forms a slope, guiding molten metal to the exhaust groove, on both side surfaces. A lateral part(1a) of the tundish main body is covered with a side wall(40) having the inner side made of refractory materials.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
