PURPOSE: A method of estimating a radius of curvature for the curved section of a railway vehicle is provided to efficiently estimate a radius of curvature of the railway vehicle using the position data on a bogie.;CONSTITUTION: A method of estimating a radius of curvature for the curved section of a railway vehicle is as follows. The relative angle and longitudinal displacement between a vehicle body and front/rear bogies when the railway vehicle runs on a curved section are measured using a displacement sensor(s10). The curvature radius in the curved section is estimated using the measured relative angle and displacement(s20). The estimated curvature radius is verified(s30).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
