RPC BIND SERVICE HAVING PHYSICAL INTERFACE QUERY AND SELECTION FOR PROVIDING ADDITIONAL SCALABILITY IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF RPC APPLCIATIONS

PURPOSE: A RPC bind service having physical interface query and selection is provided to offer a RPC bind daemon which can provide an accessible RPC program address in a network including a multi-horned computer system. ;CONSTITUTION: A latent RPC(Remote Procedure Call) client requests software address acquisition(30). In order to question an entry within a table to an interface monitor, a latent client response address is used(31). If RPC application for a program number is not accessible to an interface, best effort selection is performed(32). And, a best effort address is returned(33). If there are more network routes than one to the RPC application, a best path is selected according to one or more heuristics.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
