PURPOSE: An apparatus for increasing volume in a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to satisfy a sound volume specification through a software volume increasing function. ;CONSTITUTION: A sound source generating module(110) outputs sound source data of the mobile terminal. A sound source processing unit(120) processes an audio data. A driver(130) changes the functions of an audio device manager(126) into a command signal depending on hardware. A driver offers the command signal to a speaker(140). The driver offers PCM audio data to a sound booster(150).
