PURPOSE: A guardrail for an emergency U-turn is provided to dismantle and install more easily and conveniently, to minimize the shock added to a driver in a collision, and to reduce the possibility of a secondary accident caused by a vehicle running off the guardrail. CONSTITUTION: A guardrail for an emergency U-turn comprises: a pipe(40) extended in the proceeding direction of a vehicle; a frame unit(30) attached with a pipe on the outside and a shock absorber(32) on the inside space; a steel column(20) arranged on the side of a traffic line along the proceeding direction of a vehicle and provided with a square frame(22) on the lower part; a support member(50) installed to the steel column to support the frame unit; and a ground frame(60) provided with a board frame(62) buried under the ground to be connected and fixed with the square frame of the steel column and a U-shaped groove(64) in the center.
