PURPOSE: A depth map generation in a video conversion system is provided to optimize the conversion of a video through the generation of a depth map in order to convert a two-dimensional image into a three-dimensional image. ;CONSTITUTION: A depth gradient map generator(131) implements a two-dimensional image from a frame buffer(120). The depth gradient map generator generates a depth gradient map according to the two-dimensional image. A depth gradient engine(132) implements the two-dimensional image from the frame buffer. The depth gradient engine generates a gain set according to the two-dimensional image. A depth fusion module(133) performs depth fusion for the generation of the depth map.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
