PURPOSE: A portable consumed calories measuring apparatus is provided to accurately measure the amount of calories consumption by verifying the breathing amount and the movement of a user. ;CONSTITUTION: A portable consumed calories measuring apparatus includes a breath measuring unit(100), a plurality of movement detecting units(201 to 203), and a controlling unit(300). The breath measuring unit measures the air amount inhaled through the nose of a user and acquires a breathing signal. The movement detecting units acquires an acceleration signal reflecting the size and the direction of movement. The controlling unit analyzes the acceleration signal and verifies the movement amount and the movement pattern of the user. The gymnastic intensity of the user is verified based on the analysis of the breathing signal. Wasted calories are calculated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
