PURPOSE: A micro groove structure of a cylinder liner bore for an engine is provided to reduce lubricant consumption by reducing friction between a cylinder liner and a piston ring of an engine. ;CONSTITUTION: A micro groove structure of a cylinder liner bore for an engine comprises multiple first micro grooves(3) and second micro grooves(20). The first micro grooves are rubbed with piston rings of a piston. The first micro grooves are formed on the inner surface(2) of a cylinder liner(1). The second micro grooves are formed on the friction area of the inner surface of the cylinder liner. Multiple broken-type micro grooves(25) are additionally formed on the friction area of the inner surface of the cylinder liner.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
