PURPOSE: A rubber composition for a tire hump strip is provided to reduce the deformation caused by the heat created in external stress concentration and to improve permanent compression set resistance while maintaining stickiness and heat resistance. ;CONSTITUTION: A rubber composition for a tire hump strip includes 100 parts by weight of a base rubber and 1-10 parts by weight of a modified phenol resin in which a softening point is 110-130°C, average molecular weight is 2100-2500, molecular weight distribution is 1-2.5, and main chain is phenol-formaldehyde. The modified phenol resin has a softening point of 120-130°C, average molecular weight of 2200-2400, and molecular weight distribution of 1.5-2.0.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
