PURPOSE: An enhanced gas-cylinder mounting structure of a steering column is provided to prevent the function of a gas cylinder from becoming decreased even if the gas cylinder is used for a long time in a state there are left and right assembling tolerances between the gas cylinder and a target. ;CONSTITUTION: An enhanced gas-cylinder mounting structure of a steering column comprises a lower connecting unit(10) and a spherical bearing(15). The lower connecting unit is formed on the lower end of the cylinder body(1a) of a gas cylinder(1) and comprises a through hole(10a). The spherical bearing is formed on the lower connecting unit and the upper end of the movable rod of the gas cylinder. The spherical bearing rotatable to the pivot pin(20a) of a pivot unit(20) is formed on any one of upper connecting units with through holes. The spherical bearing supplements right and left assembling tolerances with the pivot unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
