SMELTING REDUCING AGENT FOR STAINLESS STEELMAKING DUST AND SMELTING REDUCTION METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A smelting reducing agent for stainless steelmaking dust and a smelting reducing method for stainless steelmaking dust using the same are provided to efficiently recover valuable metal contained in steelmaking dust by directly charging the steelmaking dust in an electric furnace process. CONSTITUTION: An agent for smelting and reducing stainless steelmaking dust containing lime powder and valuable metal oxide comprises silicon carbide(SiC), aluminum dross(Al-Dross), and cokes. The valuable metal oxide comprises one or more kinds of oxide selected from a valuable metal oxide group consisting of chrome oxide, nickel oxide, manganese oxide, and iron oxide. The content of the silicon carbide in the agent to the lime powder contained in the steelmaking dust is 45-65 weight%.
