PURPOSE: A drying type high efficient sulfur oxide eliminating method from exhaust gas and an apparatus using the same are provided to improve desulfuring efficiency by spraying slaked lime powder and steam and collecting the slaked lime powder using a dust collector. ;CONSTITUTION: A sulfur oxide eliminating unit(10) includes an inlet, a reaction region(16), and an outlet. Exhaust gas, slaked lime, and steam are introduced through the inlet. The exhaust gas, the slaked lime, and the steam are contacted in the reaction region. Sulfur oxides are eliminated from the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas without the sulfur oxides are discharged through the outlet. A dust collector collects slaked lime, and the collected slaked lime is eliminated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
