OPTICAL CONNECTOR AND APPARATUS FOR INSPECTING GLOBULAR METAL USING THE SAME WITH UNIFORM LUMINOUS INTENSITY

PURPOSE: An optical connector and an apparatus for inspecting globular metal using the same are provided to accurately determine whether defects are existed on the surface of globular metal or not. ;CONSTITUTION: An optical connector comprises a light source socket, a photoelectric transformation coupling unit, a globular metal contact unit, and optical fiber bundles(28,29). A light source(22) is inserted into the light source socket. The photoelectric transformation coupling unit is coupled to a photoelectric transformation unit. The globular metal contact unit has a groove in which globular metal is inserted. The optical fiber bundles connect the light source socket, the photoelectric transformation coupling unit, and the globular metal contact unit to each other.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
