PURPOSE: A power saving method of home electronic device is provided to reduce unnecessary power while maintaining standby power. CONSTITUTION: An image sensor(410) takes a photograph of an external environment. An image processor(420) determines whether the movement of an object is detected in an image of the image sensor. A message output unit(430) outputs a message on a screen. A power off unit(450) turns off the power if the movement of an object is not sensed in the image processor.
