PURPOSE: A self-suction method for launching pig and a pig launcher are provide to easily insert and launch a pig into a pipe although the interior of the pipe is filled with fluid without evacuating the pipe. ;CONSTITUTION: A pig launcher(100) comprises a body(101), a lid(102), a launching fluid suction pipe(103), a pump(104), and a suction pipe valve(105). The body is installed between a front pipe portion(112) and a rear pipe portion(113). The lid is opened and closed on the top of the body. The launching fluid suction pipe connects the front pipe portion to the top of the body. The pump is installed on the launching fluid suction pipe. The suction pipe valve is installed between the pump of the suction pipe and the front pipe portion of the body.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
