摘要

PURPOSE: A method of producing a catalyst for electrochemically removing nitrate ions in the water and a water treating device using the same are provided to enable various forms of nitrogen to be simultaneously discharged in the form of nitrogen gas since a composite metal catalyst support is formed in an electrochemical treatment reactor for nitrous-acid ions in the water. CONSTITUTION: An electrochemical treatment reactor for nitrous-acid ions in the water comprises anode, cathode and a composite metal catalyst support. The composite metal catalyst support is formed adjacent to the cathode. The basic layer and the surface layer of the composite metal catalyst support are successively formed on a metal support. The basic and surface layers are selected from palladium or copper. The surface layer is coated to 10~90% of the surface area of the basic layer.
