PURPOSE: A method for preparing polyesterpolyols using recycled PETs is provided to maintain resin stability and a hardening property by adding glycohols to recycled PETs and to prepare polyesterpolyols with excellent stability, availability, dispersibility, corrosion resistance and fire retardancy. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing polyesterpolyols comprises the steps of: mixing glycols, recycled PET chips, catalysts and thermal stabilizers in a mixer; cooling the materials to 160C or less when an acid value is 1 or less; injecting maleic anhydrides, phthalic anhydrides, propylene glycol, polymerization inhibitors, and catalysts at 160C or less; measuring the acid value and viscosity of the materials at 210C; preparing an acrylic monomer mixture in a separate container; and injecting the acrylic monomer mixture into the mixer and performing the reaction to obtain a polyesterpolyol composition.
