PURPOSE: A fluorescence sensor containing fluorescein derivatives with thiol selectivity is provided to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze thiol-containing materials.;CONSTITUTION: A sensor for detecting thiol contains the compound of chemical formula 1. A method for preparing the compound of chemical formula 1 comprises a step of reacting a compound of chemical formula 2 and a compound of chemical formula 3 under the presence of a solvent. The solvent is selected from the group s consisting of tetrahydrofuran, dichloromethane, and acetonenitrile.
