PURPOSE: Storage for compacted integer data and a transmission system thereof are provided to compact the integer values of the maximum value or the maximum value vicinity without the loss of data resolution by storing and/or transmitting the integer values in a predetermined whole range.;CONSTITUTION: An encoding engine receives the integer value of a binary number(100). The encoding engine determines the number of bits within the binary value of an integer(104). The encoding engine compares the maximum log2 of a whole range with the N(Number)(106). The encoding engine sets the flag showing N which is located in a predetermined maximum value(108). The number of the digits within the binary form is determined using the binary form of N(114). A high order compression value M(x) is determined as the same way as the Elias Delta value is determined(120). The high order compression value is determined by comparing the flag with the maximum value(124). The high order compression value is outputted(130).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
