PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing artificial marble using specific gravity difference is provided to enhance the quality of products by uniformly maintaining the thickness distribution since the artificial marble is prepared through a vertical molding method for reducing the specific gravity difference.;CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing artificial marble using specific gravity difference comprises the steps of: installing a gasket between a pair of mold plates(210) and fixes the mold plates with a clamp(215); injecting a liquid artificial marble composition into the space formed by the mold plates and the gasket; putting the mold frame(200) in a tank filled with a heating medium having the specific gravity higher than water and heating the tank; heating the mold at the temperature higher than the first polymerization step; and cooling the mold and removing the mold plates and gasket.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
